THE BARENAKED LADIES DROP NEW ALBUM ON AMIE STREET MARCH 6
April 4th, 2007 at 3:15 pmTERRY MCBRIDE’S NETTWERK MUSIC GROUP SUPPORTS AMIE STREET’S REVOLUTIONARY MUSIC MODEL
On Tuesday March 6, The Barenaked Ladies’ recently released, Barenaked Ladies Are Men (February 2007), will be available on AmieStreet.com for free, well at least for a little while. As the companion disc to September 2006’s Barenaked Ladies Are Me, allmusic.com says, “Are Men bests its predecessor by throwing in just a bit more wit, sparkle and pop.”
The Barenaked Ladies, one of the flagship artists on the progressive Nettwerk Music Group label, is the biggest artist to date on the ground-breaking new site Amie Street. The site’s innovative pricing model, where all songs start free and rise in price the more they are purchased, means that the first fans to get the new album we’ll be paying just pennies or even getting it for free.
