Both VentureBeat and PaidContent yesterday reported on the funding of Clearleap, which has been obtusely labeled as a ‘video company.’ The company, which was founded by veterans of Cox and Cisco, has been heavily invested in by Trinity Partners, Noro-Mosely Partners, and former Time-Warner CTO Jim Chiddix - to the tune of $9 million.
