RSSmeme creator Benjamin Golub has announced this morning that the service is now supporting the following services: Delicious, Digg, Diigo, FriendFeed, Google Shared Stuff, Magnolia, Mister Wong, Mixx, Netvibes and StumbleUpon.

The new services come via the FriendFeed API and as long as your FriendFeed account is public, the shares will be counted. Of course you have to subscribe to the services above via FriendFeed to make it beneficial. For example, I don’t have Digg, Magnolia, Mixx, or StumbleUpon linked in FriendFeed so those shares won’t count. Unlike FriendFeed, there’s also de-duping so shares only count once no matter how many services you share/link/vote on.

NY-based Simparel has announced that it’s taken $4 million in a Series A round of venture capital today. The funding has been provided by Israeli VC firm L Capital Partners. Simparel notes that the funds will accelerate the continued product development of both the core platform and the new Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. The funds will also be used for sales and marketing.

Simparel is a b2b play focusing on the apparel, footwear, accessories, costume jewelry, as well as home furnishings and toys industries.  The software is offered as a service (SaaS) and will be marketed towards companies who typically can’t afford larger ERP systems. 

Funny note - if you go to the Simparel site, you get to select whatever beta you’d like. Currently there are three listed and you can pick one and follow that path.

Revision3 is announcing this morning that they have signed Gary Vaynerchuk and his hit show Wine Library TV. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Revision3 will also begin to create a shorter version of Gary’s shows as the current show typically runs 20+ minutes. The new show is called Wine Library Reserve which is a 5-minute version.

Anyone who knows Gary knew this deal was coming. Why? Simple. Gary is always with the Digg fellas and seems to be a normal fixture around the Revision3 gang. Gary’s current star power with the young set nearly matches that of Digg founder Kevin Rose.

What does this mean for video sharing service Viddler? They had been hosting the Wine Library TV show and were the video choice on the actual Wine Library TV Web site. Viddler announced last month that they are a distribution point for Revision3’s shows so perhaps nothing will change.
