NY-based Mochila is announcing a new partnership today with Pringo. Pringo is a white-labeled social networking provider similar to other NY-based companies KickApps and Magnify.net. Pringo customers will have the ability to add Mochila content syndication into their social networks and benefit from a revenue share. Pringo customers will also be able to syndicate their content to the 3500+ publishers in the Mochila platform.

Mochila has continued to increase their distribution with deals nearly every month similar to the one today. Check out my interview with the Mochila team along with their nextNYers video interview.

This week on nextNYers, host Courtney Nichols sits down with StartUp Alpha Founder and CEO Donna Bogatin offers an insider’s look at her company. StartUp Alpha is a Silicon Alley social network for entrepreneurs to not only pitch themselves but to actively network their startup company. Bogatin is focusing on business models and sustainability for the startups she works with. She is looking at a corporate sponsorship as a funding model and the business is currently self-funded. In the “cool app” generation, Bogatin notes that the hope is to give out something for free and then gain good traction. She is helping companies create unique business models.

This week on nextNYers, host Courtney Nichols interviews WeMix co-founder Matt Apfel. WeMix is a new media company founded by Ludacris and Matt Apfel in 2007 as a joint venture between Disturbing Tha Peace Entertainment and MegaMobile TV. It’s a simple deal: you sign up, create your page, upload your original songs, beats, vocals, riffs, and more. As a member you can collaborate on songs, offer feedback, and share ideas for new music with others. Most importantly you can vote for your favorite songs.

This week on nextNYers, guest host Paul Kontonis speaks with nextNY founder Charlie O’Donnell. I’ve been impressed with nextNY since I moved CN back home last year. There are 1500+ members overall with a very active and participatory mailing list.

This is the most interesting nextNYers to-date as Charlie discusses the NY tech scene versus an actual startup.

This week on nextNYers, Athan Stephanopoulos, CEO and founder of Gorilla Spot, discusses the appeal and success of the online public editing program. By teaming up with movie houses including Paramount Pictures, Gorilla Spot is able to provide users with premium content on an intuitive user-friendly editing platform.

They are currently angel funding but are looking at a Series A round. Some notes about Gorilla Spot:

• An online video editing application bringing premium entertainment content to the hands of creative users
• Generates revenue with a CPA model for every video created and a CPM model for every video consumed
• Recently did a campaign for Paramount Pictures and the movie Sweeney Todd

Allen’s note - this seems pretty similar to Kaltura, another NY-based company.

Zude Co-Founder Jim McNeil explains how Zude is a fully customizable personal online space where users can grab and share pictures, objects, widgets and information allowing them to communicate with their friends and contacts in a way not possible on Facebook or Myspace. Zude effectively allows anyone to easily create and maintain their very own website.

Some notes about Zude:

• Allows users to organize, publish and share their digital assets
• Uses a premium ad unit model allowing only one perishable ad on any given page
