All the buzz today has been around people selling their bodies to the highest startup bidder. Earlier this year we covered Leora’s attempt to sell various body parts at conferences. Today we’ve learned that Mike Arrington has purchased a day of GirlInYourShirt. The girl behind GirlInYourShirt is Jenae and she will wear your shirt for a day for $100 and make some sort of videos on Seesmic, YouTube and Viddler. I can’t wait to see these videos after watching her super exciting and gripping initial demo reel today.

As the people on Hacker News point out, GirlInYourShirt won’t wear anything but a full t-shirt (no tanks) and she lives in a town with a population less than the building I live in. Somehow I am guessing this will catch-on with those young women that are shilling on video these days.

Drama took it a step further and is offering the services of a woman to basically shake her booty with your logo and create a music video. He has also setup a deal with a porn company to shoot a porn scene featuring your product for $3,500.

Tonight we’ve learned about a project started by Jason Sadler over at Thought & Theory. They are the team behind Only Human and Bathroom Thoughts. The name of the site is iwearyourshirt and basically that’s what it is. Jason will wear your shirt for the day. While Jason doesn’t specifically note it, I assume he won’t wear tanks or baby-t tshirts either! His pricing model is interesting… he is starting on January 1, 2009 for $1 and each day thereafter goes up by $1 so December 31 is $365. Jason has some interesting terms regarding sickness and weddings.

Frankly I think Jason’s shirt offer might be the best overall value because he is relatively well connected and so you might actually get some buzz creation for the investment. Especially if you get in early for only a few dollars.

For this to work for me, the girl/guy would need to stand in Times Square passing out my schwag for several hours. And they would have to be as pushy as the guys selling tourist bus rides.  Perhaps there’s an opportunity here to create "pimpyourstartuponmybody.com" where we have a marketplace for buyers and sellers of these types of services.

There are a good number of online meeting planning services including some that let you poll your attendees to find the perfect time and location for your event. MeetingWave is the first service I’ve seen where you post your desire to hold an event and others signup to attend.

MeetingWave is a NYC-based company that formerly was known as TravelersTable. You can post invitations and others can browse the list of available invitations. Once you find a real-world meeting you are interested in, you contact the organizer.

On the safety side, meeting locations are only displayed after the organizer has approved the person to the meeting. MeetingWave has also published a list of safety guidelines to consider when meeting someone offline from online for the first time.

There are RSS feeds so you can be notified when a new event is posted that meets your search criteria. You can also interact with MeetingWave on Facebook and Bebo.

There is no apparent business model as I browse the service but I assume they could charge a fee for confirmed meetings.

Speedtrap.org has moved into a full public launch this week. The site is sponsored by the "National Motorists Association" which apparently is the group that got speed limits upped from 55 mph.

The site lists speed traps by state and also lists red light cameras. A search by ZIP code would be beneficial along with a city finder. Currently when you click on a state you get all of the traps in that state in some order which I can’t figure out.

In my testing, many of the Google Maps were also not correct. In this example, the red light camera is on 57th street and 12th avenue in Manhattan, but the map shows Penn Station.

I prefer Trapster because they offer the ability to submit speed traps via the mobile and also view speed traps via the mobile. Trapster uses GPS to locate where you are and automatically beeps when you are near a trap.

SpeedTrap.org has potential especially if it’s backed by some national driving organization but they need to spend time cleaning up the site (ads that say the wrong things) and they need to work on adding mobile functionality.

The team behind website heatmap and tracking service CrazyEgg is out with a new tool called Product Planner. The Product Planner team describes the service as, "Product Planner was born out of the need to help people understand and create user flows for their web products."

There is a gallery of user flows to give you an idea of how other companies are planning their products. There are signup flows for many popular Web services including Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. User flows are categorized and include social networking, Web video, gaming and photo sharing.

The Flash player to view the actual user flows is pretty slick. While it doesn’t work correctly in IE, it allows you to scroll around in a Google Maps style. You can click any step in the flow to view it larger. You can create a user flow from scratch or use one from the gallery as a starting point. There are about 50 flow items which can be added to the overall user flow.

While there are no details about how Product Planner intends to generate revenue, I would assume some sort of freemium model will work well.

Today I wrote about coworking for my InformationWeek column. We’ve written about coworking many times on CN and have reviewed shared office space provider SunshineSuites as well. What about if you have an office and want to share space with another company or if you are looking for space for your team?

Hoboken-based SuiteMatch is like Match.com for office space. You can post open space at your office and you can search for space for you and/or your team. Currently they are listing open space in New York, San Francisco and Chicago. While they are in beta postings are free and they note that after that there will be a fee to post.

I love the design of the site - the information is very well presented and the Google Map not only shows you the location of the office space but nearby establishments (coffee, food, etc.). To be honest, they need to take their setup and duplicate it to work for apartments off Craigslist. That would certainly be a step up from the crappy experience Craigslist provides.

Sam at LeveragingIdeas wonders if they will be able to get past just startup listings and into real open space. Frankly this is a perfect time for SuiteMatch to go after large company openings as companies potentially layoff staff and have open spaces. I’ve written before that large corporations should embrace startups in their environment and SuiteMatch could be the tool to help bring both groups together.

It seems like bathroom locators are all the rage these days. We reviewed Diaroogle this past summer and there’s the popular MizPee as well. Today we have learned about a new NY-based startup that is joining the toilet-finder bunch. It’s called SitOrSquat and it has the best interface of all of the sites we’ve tried so far. The map function shows you not only toilet locations but also which locations are currently open.

There’s a variety of mobile functionality for the iPhone and Blackberry and I assume it works on Windows Mobile as well. What I like is that they provide directions to the toilet - this helps you remain covert as many places in NYC won’t allow you just to use the facilities. The only issue I noticed while using the site is that you can’t pick up a link for a toilet based on the url structure they are using. They should offer this as an option so that their pages could be ranked in Google - no sense in losing the SEO credit.

Currently they have data for NYC, San Francisco, Atlanta, Seattle, Dallas, Miami and Chicago.

The company has posted for "toilet finders" in NYC and will pay $1/toilet found. They are looking to house data on 3,000 toilets in Manhattan - this would provide pretty decent coverage. It appears that their business model is based on selling ads to hotels and tourism companies for spaces on the map along with possible sponsored toilets. Could be an interesting business model - get new business by allowing people to use the toilet.

We’ve covered NY-based graphics suite Aviary several times since their initial launch. Today I learned about Sumopaint and it is very slick. It has most of the basic features of Photoshop or PaintShopPro. From what I can tell Sumopaint has basically all of the drawing tools along with actual layers. Some of the tools include: blending modes, layer effects, brush tool, ink tool, and a text tool.

Images can be saved locally or into a Sumopaint account. I did notice that the local save function didn’t work in IE. There are a variety of community features including voting and a comprehensive photo search for photos stored on Sumpaint.

Kevin Tofel was impressed with Sumopaint when he reviewed it on their initial launch this past summer. Brad Linder wondered if it was a dupe of another online photo tool, Splashup. I could see my sister using Sumopaint for her basic graphic creation needs.

I assume once they exit beta, some sort of premium services will make up their business model.

HobbyThing is a social network that launched this past summer in the hopes of helping people find other people who are interested in the same hobbies. They call their service a "social hobby network".

There are groups, tags for easy searching, stories which looks like it aggregates stories that match the listed hobbies, photo albums and a forum. The homepage features a live activity feed which could help new site visitors find something they are interested in.

HobbyThing is a collection of niche social networks inside one large social networking container. The service is free and appears to be ad-supported. The key with any niche social networking service is activity. What’s interesting about HobbyThing is that if you search for your hobby and there’s no network created, you are prompted to create your own network. The key for HobbyThing is to make sure all of the networks are active.

Whenever I see a snow or ski-related Web site, I think back to my days creating the first snow.com. Today I found a new iPhone application that would have been a welcome addition to snow.com back in the mid-90s. Snocator takes full advantage of the GPS functions in the iPhone to make sure you never get lost when skiing or enjoying the slopes.

Assuming you are carrying your iPhone, you can find out how close the nearest lift, trail, etc. is from your current location. The company says they have mapped most of the major ski areas in North America, and snow reports, trail maps, and mountain cams for most of the world. Snocator also includes photos from resorts (see below) along with coming soon features of checking where your friends are and mapping your actual skiing usage. You can also watch live video cams from a variety of resorts.

The application also features local information including where to eat, shop, etc. I like this application because it combines a fun aspect with a real utility. It is a niche product so the Snocator team will need to market it locally at the resorts to maximize the usage. The app is free so I assume revenue will come from either ads or a revshare with the resorts.  Snocator was created by Denver-based Useful Networks.
