We covered the funding round for Sportsvite previously, but now we know the amount: a seemingly reasonable $2 million from Grace Drive Management. The site has 20 thousand users and helps you to find sports players in your area and organize leagues.

Some of the sporting social networks must be hoping for an outcome similar to FanNation, which got an investment/acquisition from Sports Illustrated at a high valuation. Takkle has also been getting friendly with SI. Other sites in the space include FanPage, FanSpot, Takkle and SportsMates.
